When you say the camera doesn’t work, does it have the same problem or something different?

I have examined the log file. The chipset drivers won’t do asus p4p800 usb for your machine other than maybe change the name of the USB controllers in device manager.

Thanks asus p4p800 usb going through those steps! I don’t know if it’ll help resolve this issue, but it’s simple enough to try: More troubling is the note on that page that says that it will not update the USB drivers anyway.
Asus P4P800-E Deluxe USB 2.0 Problem
My theory is that the motherboard chipset drivers are not installed and it is running on a generic set of drivers, but running the intel INF update utility doesn’t seem to help, which can be found here: I do not have Nero or any squirrelly software installed either, and Asus p4p800 usb have asus p4p800 usb regedit to check for possible Upperfilters and Lowerfilters, but it seems clean.
